SCALE, INC. Second Chance Afterschool Learning Environment -- A non-profit organization for the purpose(s) such as charitable, religious, educational and/or scientific purposes, to promote tourism and infrastructure programs, to make distributions to other qualified Non-Profit organizations, IAW 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, any section of the tax code. SCALE, Inc. is a community development project throughout the rural area of Richland County and surrounding counties in South Carolina.
Services & Activites
Provide mentoring images through community service activities and developing older participants to become active mentors of younger participants.
Provide educational counseling and assistance in achievement of a higher level of education (attending and implementing workshops with mentees).
Provide tutorial assistance to improve academic accountability.
Provide employment readiness skills (proper planning and research).
Provide job placement information.
Provide youth with knowledge and skills.
